I had to give up my fantasy of living on the beach and move back to dfw. I'm sad because thanks to working all the time I never got to enjoy it. Got in over my head with bougie apt on the bay so I threw in the towel, bought a travel trailer and scooted home with my tail tucked between my legs.

TNI was great about accommodating my move. I took a week off. They transferred home base from laredo to Texarkana (Hooks) and when I got back they timed my next couple of loads so I didn't end up with a zero check, and the truck I picked up was newer than the last one.

Yup. Tight quarters, but i go home so seldom it's okay. I need a little breathing room to eliminate covid debt thanks to crappy freight from Bolt for 7 months.

I lucked out and got a 2018 bunkhouse small enough for my f150 to pull easily. Later we can use it for fishing trips.

Don't feel bad, I'm giving up my fantasy too.
All I ever wanted was a little house in the country.
Well I've had it for about 5 years, it's paid for,
It's too far away from my job and I'm never
    There anyway.

It's a total waste of money.
I'm selling and moving to either dallas or vegas,
We got terminals in both places.
Only difference between me and you is I already
Have a little travel trailer sitting in the yard.
Can't get out of there fast enough.

Go to go where the work is, I'm not driving
A dump or log truck in the country for 12 bucks
    An hour.
Good luck,I know you'll keep us posted.

@rachi Right! Dfw has soo many opportunities. That is, at least one consolation to moving back home. If, God Forbid, TNI goes wonkie on me, there's a dozen jobs waiting.
