    Which is why I add at least $150 above my normal rate to every bid I make on loads to the O-duck state.

    I typically get between 60 and a 100 per state, except the communist state. That's emergency fueling only. Usually I'm within about $30 to $ 50 a month for what I might owe.

    You must not drive much out here. I'll log a bit over 1,000 miles here before I get home Monday night. It's the cost of living in a paradise governed by morons.

    As little as possible. I bumped into a BCO that had been around the block a few times when I started.

    He told me, " Just take your atlas and cut Oregon and Washington off the map and you'll be ok."

    I had a very good deal that I fell into when I first started that went from Phoenix to Oregon. Once that fizzled, and my Dad passed on, I started looking for ways off the communist coast.
