New Love's location brings 79 truck parking spots to California

I remain puzzled as to why this location in Boron, CA was chosen and not a spot closer to the 395/CA 58 junction.

In other unexciting news, has anyone noticed that the realignment and construction of an overpass at the aforementioned intersection has put that price gouging Am Pm out of business?

Yep. Killed it dead. No more four dollars per gallon gasoline at that location.

    rachi Thanks this.

California Accuses Gasoline Companies of Price Gouging

An article regarding California's investigation into gasoline price gouging.

High taxes are never gouging though, and excessive environmental regulations that drive costs upward are never burdensome.

    Nope. Never.

No such thing as tax gouging.

Not that I would ever get any type of work done at a Love's, but where in the world are they getting their shop people from out there?

Stopping at the Love's mean you don't chance being held up by a train. When a train came thru that intersection, getting into the Pilot was a pain.

I had a epiphany while driving by the new Love's on highway 58 in Boron, California, and it is this: Love's is located near a population center whereas the Pilot and the businesses surrounding it at the 395 are not. Therefore, it makes more sense to locate closer to a town rather than a now lesser used highway junction.

    Yep. Got that figured out.

Snapped three photos of the now dead and formerly gasoline price-gouging Am/Pm. Nothing left but funerals here.
