It would work on these trailers if there's a winch.

Forklifts push inoperable cars even if they don't roll with no issues to the tires at the auctions all the time. OPs problem is there's no forklift at the pick up and drop off locations.

Just noticed you hired more than one broker. LOL. The one with correct info posted almost double the rate of the other. LOL. And here we (truckers) are bickering about double brokering...:(

Yep.I initially went with my previous broker but he changed his broker fee.I think he listed it for 450$.I switched to New broker who has correct info & reasonable broker fee & he posted it for 600$ based on its condition.

Based on the size of the vehicle & condition how much should be the price for moving it?

Was this active route for car hauling truckers? Does dashboard tell you how many trucks are coming in with winch & empty slots?

    Sorry for too many questions

You're overthinking this; just listen to your second broker. No dashboards that I know of, although with electronic logging devices (which I don't use for this very reason) there might be one that brokers use that I don't know of yet.

Very few car haulers have winches capable of loading and unloading a Tesla Model S themselves. Those that do know what the speciality service is worth.

Most other haulers rely on the auction facility to use a forklift to load and the customer to offload. Further, depending on if it free rolls or not it could get torn up bad just dragging it up the trailer. I did salvage and inop repo transport for nearly 20 years this was my specialty.

Teslas are heavy so combine that with being inop which means once it is loaded they will not be able to easily move it around to load/unload other units which means they may not be able to build a full load due to either weight or inability to seap positions and the rate will be a lot more than $600. It is 960+ miles with high tolls on the PA and NJ Turnpikes or over 1,000 miles to avoid the tolls. This unit will need to pay about $1,000 if you want it done without damage or delay.

Even at a great price if the pickup location can't put the vehicle right behind the trailer or it is too restricted as far as hours or other conditions it still may not move quickly.

Thanks for explaining Brian. If it helps is there any place I can hire ForkLift to load it onto the truck or will regular tow trucks can load it into car hauler?

I will give body shop a call to see if they hove forklift & can offer there service to load it

Often a local tow company will load a car using their rollback for between $75-$100. The body shop should have a contact with a local company they use and trust.

Same for unloading at the destination, a local tower could winch it off and park it for you.
