So 23 hours minus the 10hr and 30min. Leaves 12.5 hours of driving time. Roughly. If the driver could average 65mph it's in theory possible. If they split birth for 2hrs while being loaded. It's be doable. Just crunching numbers. I'd not take it.

I consider that load a team load. The golden rule is that as long as you are on time for pickup, you are green. Work ins, late fees are part of the game. I’d take a $170 work in/late fee over having it rescheduled the next day.

For example, I had a LTL/Multi stop load. Hot potato, it was already late by a week. I can’t remember what the load was paying but I believe it was around $6k. 9E7640A3-CB39-40C9-8FE9-3A2FE0D44095.jpeg

The original negotiation was that as long as I was “ON TIME FOR THE FIRST DELIVERY, IM GREEN”. I was late on some of the stops, everything was pushed back by like 6hrs but everything was smooth. Shipper, Broker, receiver were all happy.

If a shipper or broker makes a big deal about the beginning, middle and the end, don’t take the load.

Most shippers and brokers I’ve worked with, only care about Getting that product onto a trailer. That’s what they really mean by “can you cover this”. Just get it off the production line and onto a trailer. Anyway, stay away from nightmare loads next time lol.
