Coming from I-76. I see the direct route is US-30 to PA-16. Or going around through I-70 and up I-81. Going to take a look at the atlas... but wanted to see if anyone might know the best route.

If you're getting on 76 in Ohio, if you're paying the tolls, I wouldn't run 76 through PA, its outrageous. I'd probably run US-422 out of Youngstown to I-99s to US-30e (might have to run the turnpike for 1 exit, i believe thats where there is a restriction on US-30, but i may be misremembering)

    Rideandrepair and tallguy66 Thank this.

Take PA turnpike to Exit 180, than 522 South to 30 East. One big hill on 30 East, but you will be fine. Unless it’s your money paying tolls spare yourself 422.

Download the Toll Guru app and look at your options for tolls and restrictions. It will give you a few options. That area it tricky. If company payers the tolls I’d stick to 76/81 but I’ve used 522 a lot in that area.

Sure is!!! I took it once, big old hill, and switchback. Had snow, and coal dust on the roads. I must have missed the sign. Lol

Best to take 76 to Breezewood, 70 to 81, and up. Best route. Try the cheesesteak sandwich at exit 5, at the little Truckstop across from T/A in Greencastle.
