See this is why threads sometimes go bad.

Let's see if we can agree to disagree and move on to something else less of a conflict. The trucking industry is not exactly a shining example of cleanness and professionalism.

 

There's nothing wrong with the pilot in Clinton NJ and the people that work there are actually quite friendly ....only problem is if you arnt there between 6 am and 11am you Probably wont find a place to park .

 

That truckstop on 27 in Miami used to be a dive and, unfortunately, at the time was the only truckstop in Miami. The one on Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando wasnt much better.

 

Stay away from the T/A, Petro, Pilot, Flying j, loves. If you avoid them you wont get ripped off.

 

The TA in Montgomery Al.

 

The one in Newburg? Is that the Citgo that looks like it's from 1966? The owner is rude and will come knocking on your door to make sure you paid for overnight parking.

 

Flynn’s in shrewsbury is good but you have to go back across the street to park usually, nice showers, right off x11 there’s a 99 too in a shopping center that’s half vacant you can park in and eat there as well, You have another fuel/store in foxboro as well.

P&H truck stop in newbury VT, good food, smaller lot, but showers as well

there is a roadys in Springfield am that is a fuel only stop, they have one shower and a few spots, but you might get murdered and the shower is nasty, there is a pride center up the road but it always costs me a set of fuel filters when I get fuel there, parking is $10 for the night but If you eat/shower they credit you, there’s a citgo off x3 in Westfield that is cheap for fuel as well, no parking though

b3 canaan AMbest, good amount of parking, kind of dated but they have ok food and showers aren’t horrible for being older, better then their other stop in fultonville

CT kinda sucks, the Waterbury and southington rest areas aren’t bad If you are coming up 84 but obviously parking only, north haven ct over off 91 has a small fuel stop with cheap fue, usually about the same price as Ma, but you make out on the ifta, you have all the rest areas on 95 but they all suck and are blind side parking,

There’s a Valero at the top of 17/87 on the ny line for fuel, then you can get up to the rest area for a 10, avoid penn jersey truck stop x3 off 287, it’s a dump and the owners are ########, the place next door has no parking but is always cheaper on fuel

Truck-stops Seem to Attract the Lower Class of society no matter where in the Country you Are hookers, scam Artists, pan handlers ,salesmen selling cleaning products , stolen goods , Weirdos , drifters , stray dogs you get them all at your Local truck stop
