    I did it with a credit card with a $3,000 limit. I didn't like carrying the debit card when I was working in the oilfield. It was common for me to have $100k in the bank.

    Doesn't matter how much they steal. If they didn't have the PIN and they charged $100,000 credit charge with your debit card Visa would reimburse the money 100%. Of course most cards have a $5,000 or so daily limit that the thief could not charge beyond in a 24 hour period but you get the point there.

    If they have your PIN # and steal it you are SOL. Never use the PIN. Burn it.
