We have the option to run dedicated, but plan to run wild for at least 2 weeks or more at a time. Self dispatched. Flexible schedule.

In other news, driving on a yard move does not tick down the 8-hour clock, nor does it keep you from taking a 30.

So only “driving” impacts 8 and doesn’t count against a 30?

Different company but my On Duty PreTrip also didn’t start my 8.

Yep. Apparently the 8-hour clock only ticks down when you're on the drive line, and any time spent off the drive line is time towards resetting it.

    So that's alright.

    MidWest_MacDaddy and JohnBoy Thank this.

If only mine would work correctly. Spent an hour at the shop and with safety this afternoon. Still doesn’t work.
