Jjst setting his radjo and ant to run just in the dump yards is like buying a fast car just to go down to the conrner store....
What op doesnt realize that just allowing the radio and a correctly set up ant system to work as intended he will have better tx/rx automatically...
Another idea to compare with is.......Stuff your mouth with rags and try to talk..Sure you will be listened to but ignored at some point..Now emlty your mouth..Now you will be listened to cause you can be and for a better range..
Bog up the air filter on your truck..Notice the performance loss?? Naw you only need it to do 30 mph up and down the road to get to pick up and delivery..Nawwww you dont need the mpg...Naaawwww you dont need to worry about engine life...
Same idea with haveing a quality ant set uo for a bone stock radio of any type....But hey if your radio buggers up when needed and no one car hear you,you will go out and buy another radio rite....Just hope there is a cb sales person near by...
Enjoy your new mack..

She saw the charger on the floor, tried to get into it and said nope not for me.
She went to the Dodge Dart that was sitting in the corner and got into it, it had buckets seats and a console. The sale dweeb ran over to her and asked if she wanted a nice sedan, she said hell no, she wants something that was a bit on the fast side and sporty looking.
so she ordered a 1969 dodge swinger with a 383 and the performance package, automatic because she said she was tired of shifting. She told the dealer she “isn’t the type of person who wants to be stuck at a light.”
Her job was 7 miles from her home and it took her 6 minutes to get there with four lights between.
I rode with her once in my life, we went to Hudson’s and back which was about 11 miles one way. I held on as best as I could, was scared to death. When I could drive, either her car or my own, I drove her anywhere she wanted to go but she always was in a hurry. If I drove her car, she instructed me not to hold back but go like hell.
My dad ended up with the car and drove it for a year, and my sister had it for three months until her soon to be ex boyfriend wanted to enter it in a derby, then I took it. It is now in storage here, the thing is fast but the 383 makes it a little front heavy.
oh by the way, she didn’t learn to drive until my grandfather got cancer and then my uncle who was a notorious race car driver taught her to drive. He told me the story about the first time she got behind the wheel, she was overtly cautious and not willing to speed but he broke her of that habit within a week, she got her first speeding ticket that day, 60 in 35 on Woodward. She told the cop to stick it.Meteorgray Thanks this. -
