Looking for local gigs where it’s near Richmond, Va hiring with six months experience. The problem with switching is I make way to much on this account! Walmart dedicated $1400-1700 gross a week. 64-70 hour work week.

The reason I want to leave is because the drive to Gordonsville adds 14 hours to my week. Trying to find something closer so maxing my 70 hour won’t exhaust me so much. But if I can’t I’ll just have to stay for six more months where the doors will open more.

    Do you have endorsements?
It's going to be difficult to get those paychecks you're getting now with a local job though.
    Most local jobs are exhausting.

No endorsements but can get them whenever I want. I’m local now home daily. I’ve seen a few companies hiring locally but none for six months experience.

Not interested in the food service industry for a variety of reasons. I have a bad knee so tons of lifting is a no go. A pallet jack I can do though

Best to stay where you are for another 6 months and then make your move.

I can also tell you from experience that being local you will work more than likely close to 14 hours a day as well and then still have the transit time to and from home I can say that from experience... and I can tell you this with you doing Walmart dedicated you have one of the gravy runs as far as local regional runs are concerned... and while there are local jobs out there that pay what you’re making there are a few and far between and generally don’t have openings that often because nobody leaves...

99% of local jobs you will work just as much and make less money. A lot less.

Local jobs don't care about experience, so feel free to snag one of these $17/hr gems right now.

Unless you maybe do food service and you don't. Which I don't blame you for, that's hard on the body for sure.

My opinion is that you have a sweet deal! You won't get much better than that without going full blown OTR. Even with the added work, you're compensated nicely. No job will be perfect, you just have to get a job that's good enough. In my mind, your current gig fits the bill of good enough. If you ain't exhausted at the end of a 70, you really ain't done much work.
