Whats a day like working for xpo? Are they primarily p&d? Do they use single axle or tandem axle trucks that are day cab or sleeper? What are the trailer types? Tandem or pup? Doubles and triples? What's it like to drive for xpo?

Here's a fairly lengthy write up I did a while back. It's worth the read if you are truly researching companies.

He's not researching anything, and if he is, he isn't planning on doing anything with the research. 2 years, 7 pages, 0 effort on using the Search function.

I just did my interview today (that is why I am looking for info) and my road test and offer. Of the few places I have communicated with over the phone they seem to be the most accommodating. The trainer really put me at ease and I enjoyed the road test. The information you provided matches what I was given today by the Manager.

I personally think one could do better than XPO, but that's just me.

    McUzi and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

Put on your big boy shoes and go for it. They pull triples out west like every other LTL outfit here.

McUzi, snowlauncher and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

They pull triples here on the Ohio Turnpike too, actually fairly regularly.

They use a system called Vnomics. The trucks are equipped with a touch screen interface for logging and an EOBR device.
The mileage pay scale has slight variations depending on the class of service center you are domiciled in. My barn is a relatively small operation and our top mileage pay is between .67 and .69 cpm depending on whether you pull doubles, triples ect.
Larger hubs pay slightly more hourly and cpm, though I'm not certain what the going pay scale is for others...
