You might do better to take that route 183 to route 61, then take 81 up to Hazleton then hop on 80, it's a little less speed up slow down, though it looks like 53 dead ends into 903, then takes you into Blakeslee. Itll probably eat up the same about of time.

Take 73 up to 662, turn Right, follow up to 222 and make another Right
Kutztown is about 4 miles East -
For Route 81 I've tried taking 309 but 309 is straight up and down mountains with a lot of stop lights.
I tried taking Route 61 and that also is a lot of stoplights although there is some good country between them at certain points but at the end of it it's also straight up and down mountains.
183 from 422 is a great ride. I think there's only two or three lights and there's really only I think one pretty good-sized Hill and the rest is nice driving.
I've taken 183 to 78 to 81 and that is a good ride but from 183 it's about I'd say about 17 miles to 81. That's a nice straight non-stop run but then you have to go all the way up 81 if you head up to Wilkes-Barre or Points North.
To Route 81 54 is probably okay. I could try that way and try 61 and see which seems like a better ride.Brettj3876 Thanks this. -
I am actually about the same distance to pick up 73 as I am to pick up 422.
But I would have to go up 73 through Skippack and I would I think that would be not as much Highway as 422.
Plus where 662 comes in at 422 that is my favorite Wawa to stop!
I tend to get a lot of loads that go through there.4mer trucker Thanks this. -
from Kutztown, get to 78 west to 72 North to 81 North
