Hair drug tests are just weird. I guess I have been watching too much NCIS and CSI shows, I thought they would pluck a few strands, with follicle, and that's it. I guess they only need the follicle for DNA, not drug test. Plus, they need more than a few strands, they shave off a bunch. I read that head hair is preferred, which was a problem because I keep my hair cut short and they need a certain length, but after I found out they hair test, I kept my beard long and my Andy Rooney brows (still thinking they pluck a few out)...he said no, we shave off a bunch, so now I have shaved pits...just weird.

The road test went well, I was concerned a bit because he said they use a manual. I have driven most of my career on a manual, but the last 3 yrs in a Mack with an mDrive, and I wondered how long it would take to get back into the rhythm of shifting again. Turns out, I fell right back into shifting smoothly by the end of the industrial park road the terminal is on, almost like I had never been in an automated.

Well, I made it to Deland to pu my truck. After 9 hrs in orientation, I still managed to make it to my house enroute to Deland yesterday (it's 525 miles from Lenoir to casa de snackbar). The good news about my truck, it has one of these sticking thru the floor

The bad news is, it has these on it

Yep, an ISX not the new X-15

2018, 397k, should be traded fairly soon, I saw several in the trade/sale lot in TN that were just a few truck numbers below mine

Navistar should have the European M A N truck motors in them by now since Volkswagen owns over 50 percent of the company.
