It is.

 

I did change the belt and belt running gear while it was open.
The clue is in the first picture.

 

Ah. Waterpump.

 

Yup.
It died .............after 15y.
Belt and running gear were also stil original.
So replaced all.
You need to unbolt 1 side off the nose completely ,other side you leave 1 bolt so it is supported.
Jack under the one side and open up the nose a little.
Otherwise you just don't have room enough.
Not a quick fix.

 

Wow that's a major job. I did the oil pan gasket, timing cover, timing chain, front crank seal, waterpump, thermostat, rad hoses and fan clutch on a 2nd gen Dodge Ram. Only had to remove 4 bolts holding the rad shroud to the rad support.
