I have a 2012 587 peterbilt. When I turn the key off the info center on the dash stays on and it's running my battery is dead every other day. Where is my first place to look for a short?

First, are you certain the key is off and not in accessory? If the switch/tumbler is worn sometimes the key can be removed in all positions.

I would start pulling fuses to identify the circuit or circuits staying powered up when they are supposed to be off.

    AModelCat and dannybutton952 Thank this.

Maybe the relay powering the dash is staying closed. If it’s stuck closed the key position is not a factor.

Where would the relay be located?

Try disconnecting batteries for 1/2 hour. This will sometimes reset CECU module. This module is the "brain" for your dash.

Thank you. I have the batteries disconnected now. So they don't draw it dead so it'll start in the morning I'll go back out in about 45 minutes ,hook them back up and see if the dash lights are still on
