    Yes.
The aussies have something similiar in use.
With something like that no need to worry if you get inspected.
    Nice clean oilfree engine.

Final Drive and xsetra Thank this.

If you what to check the internal condition put a gauge in the blow by pipe with engine at operating temp see what it has at idle and high idle. Then check specs on your motor. Make sure it idles at thermostat temp.

    Final Drive Thanks this.

Hey what’s up guys, I have a 2000 Volvo vn 610 with a N14 red top and lately I think it’s been burning the oil because I’ve already added about 4 gallons ever since my oil change which was about 3,000miles ago. It smokes a lot from both the exhaust stack and blow by tube when I’m stopped but when I’m driving it hardly ever smokes. Can this be something internal wise? The odometer marks about 592,000 miles but Im not too sure if those are the actual miles so I’m not too sure what can it be. I have done a gasket overhaul and swapped out one injector since I’ve had it but other than that no problems. It runs great and doesn’t seem to be at a power loss and the turbo spools up to 23-25 lbs of boost as well. Any input would be helpful because I’m honestly adding more oil frequently than diesel.

The Cummins blow by test for warranty purposes was to install a Tee at
the end of the breather tube with a 5/16" orifice on the outlet end and run
a tube from the Tee to a U tube manometer in the cab and run the engine
under load. If there is more that 8" difference in the water columns in the
manometer the blow by is excessive.
Every engine I tested was either under 8" or way over.

My breather tube comes from the top of the engine.
Should I still be looking for a baffle plate?
