    You're a 1000% right. They will advertise that all day long though. Scroll through the ads in the groups on Facebook and it will make you laugh. Just recently saw a post promising 5000+ miles a week :eek: Heck, when I started driving in 2005, I made .28/mile and was tickled to death when I got my first raise to $.31/mile lol.

    Barely enough to make ends meet. How do you feel about dispatchers? Ive put a family friend to drive my truck and im looking to add drivers to my team. But it doesnt seem like anyone wants to work with Dispatching services. Even if it pays well. Im sure it has to do with the fact that people are liars and theyve been burned in the past.

    • Drop pay - $0 for originating pick up and final drop; $25 each for intermediate stops 1 & 2; $40 each for intermediate stops 3 & greater
    • Layover pay - $75 pay after the first 24 hours
    • Detention pay - $10/hour after the first 3 hours. Capped at $125 per day
    All the above are too low to attract premium drivers. Our time is valuable so you better be ready to offer fair compensation the hours the wheels are not turning.

    I heard here on TTR that if you buy a truck, drivers will come. (Like the movie Field of Dreams). Aka Truck Owner Dreams.

    That sounds like a pretty good job. I’d try indeed, or craigslist. FB was big for me to find jobs at one point.

    Unless I missed it, you didn’t list one important item;
    How much is health insurance, and which provider?
    What the cost for employee?
    Employee & spouse?
    Employee & children?
    Employee & family?

    Coffey and Rugerfan Thank this.
