    I'm not in favor of most 1099 jobs, just because I don't feel they offer enough in return for what you give up.

    But I guess if people like them, keep them around? I dunno. I'm torn on this one.

    At the very least I know that I wouldn't take one of those jobs.

    Here’s a thought. I make 1500/wk salary on w-2. No benefits, or insurance, no per deim write off= lose 300/wk. pay 100 extra in taxes a week. No option to work as 1099 bc my boss is by the book.
