You despise it, but I miss it terribly and hope that I can go back. I don't think I was ever happier (and I certainly have never made more money) than when I worked the Delaware Basin.

You're like me, man. Passionate about the oilfield, no matter how crappy it can be!

Yeah West Texas is garbage to me.I have been in the oilfield since 08’ and started in Western Colorado. So far CO,ND from 11-14,and now the Eagleford Shale.CO and ND have been my favorite so far.

How's the EF right now? Seen a few sand trucks running back and forth near Nixon, but I don't see much going on around Karnes City.

I started in the EFS but I liked West Texas a lot better. Never been to CO or ND, I'm very much a flatlander.

Everyone I know is a hydrovac operator so I can’t tell you for certain how busy the EFS is right now but I do see a lot of sand boxes and pneumatics running around.I was jetting out a few pipes that were clogged with sand at Preferred Sands and saw a bunch of Chalk Mountain and Texas Chrome pneumatics getting loaded.I know for a fact that Conoco is fracking right now because we clean out their open top tanks and they are also installing new pipelines.

    RockinChair Thanks this.

The pole holding the windsock is doing its best impression of a fishing rod!
