Some Blood pressure meds are nothing but water pills. If you can afford a SGLT2 inhibitor ((Jardiance) close to $10 a pop). This medication is not only a strong water pill it is noted for causing bad urinary infections especially in women. Some drivers drink pop all the time, some even diet sodas. Pop will cause dehydration. Dehydration will cause an increase in water craving. I will never change my opinion on this topic. If you can't account for this malady SEE A PHYSICIAN ASAP! You might need a medication changed or adjusted. They can do some quick tests to rule out diabetes or some form of a renal issue. Then once you have ruled out the medical aspect, you can then have a frank discussion with this Physician about lifestyle changes.
2 nights ago I was speaking to a Virginia DOT cop that attends the same Church I do. I asked him about this in relation to his job. He chuckled a bit and said the doc said cut coffee consumption in half and drink more water. He told me most days he can go about 3 hours without having to go to the restroom.
Just something to think about!
