Let us know if you get one of the new trucks with the “economy coast feature”they have added to improve fuel economy. I’ve heard it’s causing quit an up roar.

He said he was issued a corn binder with a manual tran. I guess Georgia overdrive would count as economy cruise feature.

I spoke too soon about not having issues. Last night I had to wiggle around some 'make a spot' drivers in a full truckstop, and had to make a hard left turn to get back on the road, only to have the red brake hose break...it was really brittle, and instead of the coil uncoiling...it just broke. I managed to get over in 1 lane of this 2 lane country road...threw out my triangles...but chose to swap the service line over so I could at least release the brakes and get to a safe spot. Bought a new air line and had it fixed faster than getting thru to breakdown.
Now, coming into Brigham City, UT I noticed some smoke behind me. I pull off on a ramp, and #### if a brake chamber on my front drive axle may have broke. Managed to cool it down and baby it the last few miles to the Love's here just north of the scale...so now I sit, waiting for my turn at the shop to see if it was indeed the brake chamber, or something else causing the brake chamber to appear broken. Went to cage the brake, and I think it's part of the spring blocking the hole. It's not leaking, just locked on.Last edited: Oct 27, 2020

Aside from the danger of a moving truck out of gear, I don’t like it because my OCD resents the unnecessary loss of forward momentum.catdog45, Another Canadian driver, Jarhed1964 and 4 others Thank this. -
