Can I borrow your shower power or pay you?

Well that presents an image i didn't want in my brain LOL LOL!!

 

My thoughts exactly.

 

I really do feel bad for drivers and the shower situation - we did it 10 years teaming - I understand.

40 gallon fresh - 8 gallon hot - grey dumps to ground, black 8 gallon (cassette potty).

Easy to find fresh at fuel island - black can dump in toilet/portapotty/ RV dump at FJ.

Ive let other drivers use the shower on lay down yards in the past where there was nothing around, I’m not that selfish.

 

Well ok but in that case I'd just pay cash when i needed a shower rather than start a thread on here an give proper clarification as to why. Just my opinion.

 

It took a long time to learn CB lingo when I first started driving. 2004.

I hooked the radio up and just listened and learned for a month - too scared to key up.

Even when I did, I emulated an American accent to ‘fit in’ . Backfired one day when a guy wanted to talk my ear off going down the road - the lie got harder to maintain.

Pickle park was one of them I had to ‘ask’.

Yeah and he's trying to pay to use someone else's card! I'm still scratching my head on that one.....

 

There is a large off-ramp area on the CA 580 over the Altamont Pass where I used to park quite frequently when I was running produce out of Salinas, etc. I was starting my day so I was doing a pre-trip and looking under the hood when a CHP pulled up, he said that he had seen me parked there and wanted to make sure everything was alright. Then he told me that it is also a frequently used pickle park and some of the guys can get pretty aggressive.

Me: "Okay, thanks for the heads, err... ah, warning."

You can also find free tank dumps at some rest areas, and various other places.

All the rest areas here and on the sandbar, have them. I thought it was cool. No need to find a campground, etc.

On the camping shower bag that was posted....I was going to post it then remembered it's near the end of October, and they are not the best in cold weather.
