The other problem with Volvos is that their parts are expensive, and many of their parts are dealer-only.

To the op: I’m strongly considering Volvo for my next truck. My first truck was a 386 with a deleted isx. That was a great truck. I bought a 2020 579 with an x15 efficiency last December, and I don’t think I’ll get another. It’s not any more efficient than my old truck and the cab seems pretty cheap relative to the 386. With that said, if you talk to 10 guys that have 579s, I may be the only one that is not a fan of them.feldsforever Thanks this. -
Older Pete's are pretty trucks, sound good, and think they were pretty reliable. But I wouldn't own one as my first choice.
359, 379...never was a big fan of inside cab.
Motocross I prefer Yamaha
There you go each to their own long, as it not a notorious trouble maker, when people asked options.feldsforever and Brettj3876 Thank this. -
On an unrelated note, the One Box is a known issue at a pretty consistent mileage range so why don’t people budget for replacement instead of acting surprised when it happens?feldsforever, magoo68, daf105paccar and 1 other person Thank this. -
