I think KW and Western Star are tied for #1 in my book. I think an SD122 Shaker would fall in behind those 2.

The only downfall for the Western Star is if you’re in a weight sensitive operation. When I was pulling pneumatic and was thinking about a new truck I spec’d out a bunch of trucks. Similar specs (dd13, 12 spd auto, similar size bunks) the 5700 was about 1100 heavier than a Cascadia. But the stuff that made it heavier also made the interior a lot classier too.

at my size and weights - I am more interested in function than empty weight(my bobtail weight will be close to 30k). My build date for my 3rd new Star is 12/5 and I can’t wait...

I'm sure I'll get flamed but I love the looks of a classic xl flat top

I don't want to be rude or derail this thread, but you didn't by any chance get the new 49X? or what do you think about it?

    Tug Toy Thanks this.

no, I did not. Mine is a 4900SF

I don’t really care for what they have done to the interior.
