I want to say ive hauled for them before . I think one of those loads i did from st louis to indiana. Didnt have any problems but i didnt deal with them directly.
Dale thompson, JonJon78 and PPDCT Thank this. -
I picked up the shipment, $600 and was 2 hours late delivering it. They deducted $300 and it took 62 days to pay it and several phone calls. Some of there listed phone numbers are no longer in service.
The next time they called, I blocked there number. They then posted that same load that someone else probley fell off of for I think $1000.
They bought a Gander Mountain store that had gone out of business in KS, but before they could turn it into a headquarters they had to put it back up for sale -
And there you have it folks.....^^^^^

A few years back I was down in McAllen, Tx. with an empty RGN. That's not exactly a beehive of activity for RGN freight to put it mildly. I delivered on a Wednesday I believe, and Thursday my office gal says she's found a load that's 2 miles from where I was at; a partial of ONE forklift, then the other TWO loaded up in Dallas and all 3 going to north of Chicago, from this "king of freight" folly. The entire thing paid .87/mile and at first I said forget it. Then you start thinking...deadhead 400 miles to get into an active area, or suck it up. 2 miles from the first pick...have to go through Dallas anyway...so I start trying to negotiate with this ship of fools at KOF but they told me that "that freight can sit there for 3 months for all we care...somebody will haul it eventually." That became me. I caved into the convenience, not to the great opportunity. But the end result of that story becomes this post. You do what's best for you at the moment, and don't worry about what everybody else thinks. Not like I ever did anything else with them, nor ever will again. Got me some revenue instead of being in the negative, which is how it generally goes when you deal with bottom feeders such as these. Don't make a habit of it, that's all I can say.
