Best tanker training I had was to hold a pint of beer while driving a golf cart.

    If you slipped you failed.

IRL the maing thing to know about tanker is that 1) you can make panic stops,
    2) you can steer left or right
    3) but NOT at the same time.

Always slow to, or well below the posted on-off ramp speed before you get to it.

The surge feels like a train wreck when you first start moving but the risk at 0-5 mph is minimal.

Surge and automatic transmissions don't play well together. Learn how to control your gear choice on your transmission when going up hills or you will go up hill like an idiot as the transmission hunts for a gear causing you to go slower than required if you control the gear changes.

    Lazer and Badmon Thank this.
