So I decided to pull the trigger and get my class1. I was wondering where to start off, my dad who was offering to buy me a used truck and go out by myself. Was planning on doing reefer work. Or should I wait and join a company and learn from there? Any piece of advice helps out of chilliwack bc

Get on a team with a guy who's been at it longer then 6 months, good luck.

I agree ... don't jump in with both feet right out of the gate. Get some experience with someone first, then when you have that knowledge, then go out on your own. Planning is the best road to success, taking risks aren't.

Hope that helps and best of luck.
