That’s one heck of a recoup!

 

First and last time. Will just go home next time I have to take a city unit.

 

Oh it’s a good truck. Just can’t pull like a road unit and they are only rated 54k gross.

 

Well I just took that to the hub that works on our trucks. Left it there to pick up a road tractor that was done being serviced. Pretty sure they just had that city tractor I left there towed back to my center. Short on drivers so they use a towing company a lot to move tractors. Pretty sure it’s cheaper to pay a city driver OT than use a tow truck but what do I know lol.

 

Fairly easy day today, only about 9.5 hrs. Last week I did about 60 hrs, so I’m hoping for a little relief this week.

 

In the middle of nowhere, in the hills, no cell service, just a few miles from my first stop today, my truck goes dead in the water and makes me do a 55 minute re-gen. Then when I actually find the place, they refuse the delivery. Ha! Good times.
