    Anyone with a Peterbilt 389 or model with same dash have Omnitracs?

    I’m struggling to find a location to install mine and curious what others have done. Not eager to drill four holes in my new dashboard and want to get it done right the first time.

    Found a pedestal that bolts on underneath the passenger seat on EBay.. Has anyone done it this way?

    You won't like mine as it includes screw holes in the dash but atleast you get the idea. LOL... My buddy also has the same truck and he mounted his down by the cup holder, also screwing through the dash but more "hidden".

    Have a couple that are mounted to the bottom of the cup holder. Puts the unit lower but no holes can be seen when removed.

    @JonJon78
    That’s exactly where I was thinking I could do it but was afraid of covering some of the switches.

    I may just put it there and be done with it. I’m not against drilling holes, just want to get it done right the first time.

    I really appreciate you taking the time to reply and post pictures.
    By the way, what year and model is your Peterbilt? I just picked up a 2021 389.

    No problem. Not sure if the 2021 389 has a vent right below where the cup holder is or not? But that's where I ran the cord through from underneath the dash.

    I have a 2020 389.

    I'm guessing the orange 389 is yours? If so, looks great. You will be happy with that truck, I certainly have been.

    Where did you purchase it from?

    I pulled the upper trim down and mounted mine in the center above the light, ran the cord out from under dash behind the cup holder.

    Yes that’s mine “Omaha Orange “

    Purchased from Rush in Orlando and went to Denton, Texas and picked it up Thursday. Was a 1,200 mile bobtail ride back home and I enjoyed every single mile.

    I wanted to be the only one who drove it so they knocked $1,400 off the price for me to pick it up myself..

    Got the dbl bunk sleeper so my son can go with me now and then..had a single in my last truck.

    That’s a good place for it, thanks for the pictures. I never thought about putting it up there.
