New company. Small company. Based out of Virginia but drives live wherever. OTR runs nationwide pays way better than most. In 10 years driving this company offers the best pay I’ve seen for starting out. Avg driver takes home around 2k week! When the money flows you can make moves. Pretty small so easy to get things done. I feel like family already. I love it.

Sounds like you’re still in the honeymoon phase. How long have you been there?

Don't rain on this man's parade while he's happy. If it works for him, more power to him. Driver, do your thing

I've seen that on here before about a company paying on a 1099 being illegal. I'm not disputing the legality of it but am curious as to if it's illegal how do so many companies get away with paying that way?

I used to work for one of those companies. They disguise it by getting their drivers to open a corporation, at least the ones in Chicago do. They actually are very privy to the system. Some of the other ones hire specific tax people that show them every loophole imaginable to keep them legal.
