Got a crack leaking a fair bit. I know it’s a fairly big job but incase wondering if the cover can be repaired? Welded?
Or just replaced?
Thanks

Try some seals all. In the yellow tube. Clean it good with brake kleen first, for now. When you have time, maybe V it out just a little with a grinding bit, and JB weld it. If either of those don’t work, get it welded in place. As long as it’s not leaking otherwise Good welder can weld almost anything. Front covers are expensive, Lot of labor to change. If it needs to come off, I’d buy a used one. That’s what I would try first anyways.
