New York troopers say truck driver uprooted tree, 'caused a large amount of damage'
Wow man. That’s some creative destruction right there.
On a high note,if trucking doesn’t work out the driver can go into the tree trimming business!!

Even happens on the interstates, too. I was in Denver a couple weeks ago and needed to get on I-70 from Havana street. There were so many A-frame barricades, cones, and traffic barrels at the on ramp, I crunched at least one cone.
And Havana street is where the TA is, so they know #### well 65 foot trucks are going to need access through there. Nope. Instead they set up the cones and barricades to be passable lanes for cars, but not trucks.
Anyways, that's one way to retire an old Columbia. -
Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.

The best part is they keep changing it up as they make "progress" on their construction project. Now to get onto I-70 west from Quebec, you end up taking the frontage road for a mile or so to Colorado Blvd. Or at least that's the way it worked the last time I went through there. It might have changed since last week. It feels weird to say this, but you're generally better off getting onto I-270 to get out of that neighborhood.Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.
