You make no sense other than drama, you go into a diabetic seizure for low blood sugar.

Obviously not as you can't seem to get we are discussing DUI/DWI. Yes carrying a 6 pack home is fine, but an open container, even off duty, is still an open container in a motor vehicle. At least two states call an open container the same as DWI\DUI.

You keep claiming it's fine to drink in the cab of a truck. That's factually false as it's not ok to drink in any motor vehicle, commercial or personal. That's in at least two stats, and I only glanced for a moment. I'm sure most, if not all states have the same law. It's only fine to transport unopened containers and only off duty.

You two fail in reading comprehension.

At no point did I state anything about consuming alcohol in a commercial motor vehicle.

I referenced to open container laws applicable per state.

I have yet to engage in dwi, dui, or ovi.

I'll wait for you to catch up.

This is false if it is in your cab. (Wisconsin)
If the 6pack is packaged with a shipping label and you have a BOL. Inaccessible to driver, as in side box or in trailer.
Then shipping the cargo is legal. There may be state transportation laws you need to meet to do this.

Advise given to a driver I know, after his 6pack was confiscated from the State Patrol, out of his cab, during a roadside inspection. He was on his way home deadheading. Shut down for 10 hours. No tickets. Ruined his weekend plans.

I completed the statement later in the post that makes it true, sorry if I didn't make it clear. I will here.

"Yes carrying a 6 pack home is fine, if done while off duty. (I.E. personal conveyance.)"

The guidance stating as such has already been posted.
