You've transflowed. They have the originals already. In this day and age, picture messages, scanning, emailing, a multitude of methods are available for brokers to get the bols. I hate to say it, but there isn't much leverage you have at this moment. You're under a load. If it dont get to where it needs to be at, then you'll have other issues that don't concern your company. In the future if you have a pay issue to that magnitude, dont take another load. You dont want the brokers, shippers, or receivers to report that load stolen or missing. At that point you'll have bigger problems and they won't care about you not getting your 1600. You really need to go deliver that load and then fight with them.

Some require originals but a large majority don't.

Just sell the truck you have no intention on going home until you get paid and they arent going to pay you they pulled a fast and easy one on you hopefully in the future you dont fall for it again but the way this is going you will

Make copies of each piece of paperwork dealing with each load. THEN, UPS or FEDEX next day with originals. You have a tracking number so you will know when they have them in their grubby little hands. Will cost you, but then there is no reason for you not to get paid.
Then deliver your current load and take them their truck and go get a real trucking job, that pays W-2.

    650cat425 Thanks this.

Deliver the load, then if you know brokers, try to haul a load or two off the books for cash. Or start selling stuff off the truck, ie; sell the inside tire and rims from the tandems, load locks, chains, lights etc., on the way back to the terminal.

You are not an employee under 1099 deal. Dont care what they say. You are an independent contractor.

Listen to the wise @Chinatown That is the best solution, IMHO the advice from @TripleSix is also an option. You're probably not going to get what's owed you. Cut your losses, move on.
