Have you tried going to a chiropractor? Maybe an adjustment once a month or something will help you out. Also, stick to your guns on not moving pallets if the pallet jack can't handle it. Herking and jerking those pallets around with just your body is a surefire way of throwing something out of whack with your body.

    rowekmr and McUzi Thank this.

Just a point of order, jerking things around is never good. Pull and push smoothly, it's much better for your body.

Moving heavy freight is a part of the job when you take a job moving heavy freight around.

I’m surprised there’s not any line haul drivers out of your terminal, that wouldn’t want to be local. I guess LTL ain’t what it used to be. Started with tailgating, now it’s inside delivery’s. Not much different with some linehaul jobs, with dock work etc. There has to be something available in your area, that’s no touch. Jobs near Me like that only pay little more than 2/3rds what the LTL Carriers pay. It would have to have overtime available. 5 days, 60 hr week, paying 70hrs. Good Luck, I’m sure you can find something.
