I'm losing power when climbing hills and the occasional puff of white smoke when I start the truck is what I'm being told is the reason. I said I see the turbo gauge rise, I hear the whine of it kicking in. I'll know more when I go in to pick up the truck this morning.

I have to pull a few more loads to save up more repair money. Hope it lasts long enough. It feels like I am out here to solely support the mechanic. I go out, I make money, it goes right back to the dealer. Some day, I'd like to have a week or two of no repairs and put some money in the bank for me...

    The joys of ownership.

They repaired the coolant and air leaks and "suggested" a turbo. Suggested mean, "Your turbo is completely non-functional." Found that out when I tried to leave the yard. Didn't make it. Because I have spent so much on tires and repairs this month, the repair found is depleted.

So, I had them put a used turbo on it to get me down the road a few more loads to pay for the new turbo. That turbo failed, didn't make it out of the lot. Now, I'm waiting to find out if the other used turbo they had on the shelf will work.

This truck is killing me. More to follow.

Final update. The #6 cylinder lost compression. After all the money I've put into new tires and repairs, I'm tapped out. I can't afford an inframe right now, so the truck is dead. They've offered to buy it for parts.

Looks like I'm out right after I just got back in.
