Coming out of eastern Penn tonight I noticed lots of flatbedders including western express hauling municipal waste ...and cant be anything more degrading than a flatbedder hauling onions lol.

You guys remember MY X-mas tree story? Well, here it is again,,, Coming south on I-39 late at night in the Brownberry truck ( cabover setback axle single sleeper Frightliner) doing my 58 mph, as per union rules, pickup passes me in the left lane, had to be doing 70, this guy had plywood sides, and trees stacked to oblivion. I think there were even trees on the hood. So he goes out of sight, about 10 minutes later, up ahead on the shoulder, 4 way flashers, you guessed it, this guy lost the whole kit and kabootle, out of the darkness, trees from side to side, nowhere to go, so I ran over a bunch. I was worried it took out the crossover, but aside from a slew of needles, no damage.

Why not? looks like a good road. At least you don't need to go off the road and drive through the trees to get there. ;)

When I done them it took about 2 hours to load and each stop was about 30 minutes to unload, I had 4-5 stops.

Ill be unloading 150 trees tomorrow morning at 7am at my church. i talk to the truckers every year. 7/8 drops from quebec on down into manhattan: the math i heard is a mileage rate, tolls paid, as power only.

mother ####ers hauling that #### for $1.40 a mile out of New England. Sad thing is I see owner operators hauling this ####, the rate it pays wouldn’t even cover a tire from going in ####ty ### landfills and transfer stations to load. 2020 guys hauling trash for less then what my dad did in the 90s and he hauled it in a walking floor and was home every night for supper. So many low life losers in trucking it’s not even funny.
