Just trying to make y'all feel better: there's a driver at Hazmatinc.com who got hit TWICE sitting at the FlyingJ in Wichita Falls. First hit, truck was still drivable. Drive is sitting there, filling up paperwork, cops had just left : BOOM!! Gets hit on the other side of the tractor, this time rendering truck inoperable... makes you fear taking your 10 anywhere.
Good evening gents !

That damage is pretty harsh. Clearly, if it's at the shop, they got some settling to do. Good luck, pal, I'd be sick too. I see on a previous post, that happened in Pueblo? Quite frankly, I'm not too keen on Colorado. Problem is, these places can't get good help. If it happened at the truckstop, sadly, cost of doing business today. It's why insurance is the killer. I stayed away from truckstops for this very reason, but where do you go nowadays?

TheLoadOut Thanks this. -
The down time is what kills you. No income from the truck, no income for the driver...it adds up fast.

That sucks. Pretty soon insurance companies are going to start offering discounts if you agree to never park at a truck stop.
