I saw it at Loves in Bushnell Florida today . They don't make trucks like that anymore.

So I drop at HD in Joliet, (McDaddy, they must have painted the numbers on the other side cause not in the 700-1000's). Their computers were down so they couldn't advise on empties, but I found one within minutes, doors wide opened and hooked to it and took off for my next load at Coregistics for 42k of cat food going to Crete NE. Dropped there this morning bounced to Waverly NE going to McCook NE (240 miles) which I will drop in the morning then two hours to Broken Bow for my load toward home in Four Oaks NC for the Turkey Day break. First one in three years home. Last two, FCC banquets.

Ya, when I saw them it was on the far side of the building off to the right where the empties are sometimes found. I’m assuming they would be doing all of them... well, eventually.

So I’m rolling around up in Wisconsin today... dang if this one area doesn’t just love their Roundabouts... I had to cross an interstate... and they had 4, four, FOUR #### roundabouts, two on each side. One for the frontage road, one for the On/Off Ramps, and the same in the other side. Luckily on the way out there wasn’t much traffic so I just snaked my way through them easily. But coming in was a different story with all the four wheelers zipping around and unable to tell until the last moment if they were taking the turn or coming around... and with three lanes Ya, im crossing lines all over the place so glad those behind me gave me a wide berth... a couple times I even had to play the “I’m sorry but I’m bigger than you and I really hope you have a good sense of self preservation ... cause I’m coming through” card.

but #### didn’t that young lady behind the counter of the fuel stop have the most adorable accent... “dontcha know”. That made up for three of the four roundabouts... LOL

When the rocket scientist that implemented the roundabout into existence designed them they didn’t really take into account a 70ft vehicle trying to negotiate some of these. They are becoming more prevalent throughout the country, there’s even some in my neck of the woods in SC.

I read about a year ago that the rocket scientist was taking the idea from the European countries to use in the United States in order to make intersections more safe. But goodness the European customs, highways are different from ours. They even use more Cabovers for trucks with some short trailers.

    Roundabout - Wikipedia

According to Wikipedia, the first roundabout here in the states was made in what is now San Jose Ca. In 1907.
