We decided to cancel this year. Just the wife and me at home Thursday and Friday. We said it might be nice, kind of like a “reset” actually that’s what I consider this entire year. Anyway it’ll make us appreciate Thanksgiving 2021 sooo much more I think.

My wife’s brother—who highjacked our holiday after he retired from the Navy and moved back home into their great big house...and served us mediocre food for three years straight—his family has The Covid. So we will be having a small, immediate family-only Thanksgiving this year, which means the food WILL be great, and we WILL have giblet gravy and cornbread dressing, not Stovetop Stuffing and gravy from a packet.

We are having a little get together at my brother-in-law's place a block from us, but not until Saturday, when everyone can get there. Last Christmas they had tacos so I'm not going to try and guess what the fare will be this time. Thursday is supposed to be sunny in the mid 60s so I think I will go fishing.
