So, I have been having this coolant leak for a month now. I've been in the shop 3 times for them to find it and each time they do all the tests and never find it. I replaced my heater core because I did smell in in the cab after replacing that. The smell did go away. But the leak continued. Now, I am at a point where I am burning a gallon a day of coolant while driving and while sitting. I'm heading to Allentown PA now and will be putting in in another shop any suggestions on what else to have them check would be great. Also, any freightliner dealer or shop that works on freightliner around that area who someone knows could find the leak would also be a huge help. My truck has a dd15 380k miles 2018 cascadia freightliner. Any information would be a huge help thank you ahead of time

If you can't see any leak then maybe you have a bad head gasket and you're burning coolant.

Get yourself some coolant dye and a blacklight flashlight off Amazon. I did this and solved all my coolant problems. That is, of course, it it's not internal.

There is a small line running alongside the engine from the back up towards the surge tank, not sure where it starts and ends, but it leaks intermittently, the FL(WS) shop knew about it and replaced the line, the lease shop was unable to find the leak in 2 tries. 3 times, lost enough coolant to trigger shutdown, but never found a puddle and it wasn't being burned.
The replacement line is metal, I believe. -
Anybody test the EGR cooler? Be my first go-to if there was no external leak.

Yep it'd be putting coolant into the EGR stream. EGR cooler is typically a higher-fail item than a headgasket from what I've seen. Generally speaking of course.

On the driver's side of engine, there is about a 3/4 black plastic line running from near top of engine to air compressor. There is also a short one from air compressor back to block. These are prone to leak, you are at the mileage they begin. Pay close attention around the clamp just above the oil filter.
