Back in the late 70s Insured Transport ran out of the Fremont, Ca General Motors plant. We were able to haul eight full size pickups.
What I’m looking for is any pictures of those trailers, or locations where I might find one.
The reason is I build custom models in my spare time and I want to build that trailer. What is amazing is they ran GMC tractors and there is a model kit of that tractor. I’ve already built the truck and eight pickups.
I’m sure one of those trailers must be sitting around the San Francisco bay area somewhere.
Any ideas or thought would be greatly appreciated and if there are any old hands that once worked for Insured I would love to chat with you. (Irishman)

I do, however, know where a Tractor similar to the bottom one is
near Bangor, Pennsylvania, sitting forlornly next to a house for the last 10 years. Owner used to use it , then only for local parades,
now not at all. Seems a shame, as it was complete, and roadworthy.
I am a rescuer of the odd, the obscure, and the unusual, but this
is out of my swim lane. I have "project overload" syndrome already, and this would just force me to buy a Landoll trailer.Coffey Thanks this. -
