Are those the ones that you drive on the opposite side of the road? If so, my goodness, they are confusing. Give me a roundabout any day over one of those.

So I got my truck back last Monday, a couple days later it started throwing a code for the inlet nox sensor, my goal was to get it back up to the Freightliner dealer in Omaha to get the code addressed plus have my rear pinion seal replaced on my front differential. Before I made it back to Omaha a more concerning issue arose, I was losing coolant at an alarming level (a gallon and a half in a 30 hour period). What has me stressing out is that there is no visible sign of the coolant.

when I dropped it off at the dealer in Omaha I made the service writer aware of the radiator that was replaced the previous week in KCMO. They assured me if they found any wrong doing by that shop, they would be held responsible.

Hopefully in the next few days I will here what’s causing the coolant loss. In the meantime FCC has put me in a loner. I have to give a shout out to Mike Andreason (in charge of the lease program) and our shop guys. After the last couple weeks I’ve had I wasn’t sure what condition the loaner would be in. To my surprise the truck interior had been detailed, and the shop had made sure the truck was serviced and ready to go. We’ve all worked for a company where we have gotten into the loaner/spare truck that was trashed and barely road worthy. Again Kuddos to FCC.

I am currently getting unloaded in Hartwell, Georgia, once empty I’m headed to house for Thanksgiving.

I know easier said than done, but try to have a good thanksgiving and don’t let truck issues in the back of your mind dampen your holiday. As always, enjoy your posts, and this is one of my favorite threads to follow. Get home safe. Happy thanksgiving to you and yours, and everyone in here!
