Back in 2005 we saw the same thing, that was 15 years ago. Get your CDL and learn then worry about what company you're going to drive for if you're going to worry about anything.

The only section of trucking I can see taking any kind of hit in the foreseeable future from automation is dedicated runs that can be done out and back on less than a tank of fuel. Those are the only runs that would take enough variables out, and even then there would be enough variables leftover for it to take I would guess another at least 15-20 for the tech to be good enough to handle.
