I just want to say it’s coming but we won’t see it fully accessible in our lifetime.

My brother is an account manager for Cat and he heads the autonomous department.

They’ve have the program in his part of the world, in his 5 mines and its pretty good - rain, snow, sun, anytime.

It’s good because they can plan the route with no deviation. Once you add random things is when it stops working well.

Didn’t read the thread but I’d say your timing is perfect. You’ll be a veteran by the time driverless is wide spread. If, it ever is.

18 year old's can attend cdl school and then a driving job.
    No need to wait.
You can drive within the state until you're 21, then after you're 21, drive interstate all over the USA.
    `
I've seen several ads for 18 yr. old cdl drivers and saw this one today.

I am just gonna start robbing them. Buy a junker car and pull in front of the truck and slow down until stops.

Maybe a fish finder can stop it.
Some truckers use them to jam radar on police vehicles.

I would hate to get caught with a "fish finder" in my CMV without a boat and tackle to go along with it!o_O:cool:

Or get out and hook the hoses up to dump a load of diesel or gasoline off at your local filling station.

Teachers are the last people I’d listen to. Guys who know the industry and go out and do it every day...maybe half of what they say I’d believe.
