Company I work for has a fleet of retired CA fuel trucks. Late 90’s to mid 2000’s, all pre-regen/def engines.
Pete’s, KW’s, Freightliners.
All manual trans., all 800,000 mi plus.
All w/pto’s .
All currently have fuel tanks mounted, but will separate.
All set-up to pull a pup trailer.
As a ‘ruff ballpark estimate’, what would be a per unit value?
Owner wants sold as a group, if you want the Pete’s, & KW’s, you have take the Freightliners.
20 +/- units total.
Located in south central Texas.

Send ‘em to auction bud. You’ll never sell 20 units that are over 20yrs old and all worn out, not to one fella. You’ll sell one here one there & it’ll take forever to off load them.

Thats what we’re thinking, there have been a couple Mexican truck jockies that have looked, agreed to terms, then disappeared. Maintenance records can’t be found on most, so we don’t know each individual truck’s issue on why it was OOS, some over 10 yrs ago. Can’t find keys for some, no batteries in any of them.

What tanker company did they belong to?

Its my understanding they were originally Chevron company trucks.
The current owner, I don’t have authority to discuss.REO6205 Thanks this. -
