What year and mileage? What caused all the wear you think?

1998 just over a million. It was normal wear but I added some extra wear attempting to get it out. Still working on it. All suggestions welcome

Got some bearings from agkits for the new cam. All holes were perfectly aligned. They went in nice and snug. 20201130_145535.jpg

How many bad rollers did you have?

Plus. I'm guessing these are the adjustment screws for lash? I'll check them out.

Yes the adjusting screws. Cover the oil hole at the bottom of the plunger with your thumb & squeeze the screw. Look for a crack running up the side of the plunger.

Gear heated up in the gas bbq. About 1.5 hrs on high. It's only about 34 degrees outside today. New gear slid right on. No hammer or banging anything. It's cooled down now and tight on the cam
