    Nope, it isn’t even close.

when you have people who shoot back with confidence to take you out, it may be to be calm and smart about what you do is better.

I'm not a violent person. In fact, if I can walk away from a fight I will. Still, it's a mistake to confuse reluctance to fight with being scared too! I am a large man. Several times in my driving career I came out of my truck with my "thumper" in my hand. I kept it just behind my seat beside my ball-peen hammer. Sometime's I rather just let the "thumper" talk!

This topic reminds me of an event my father was a part of in Breezewood Pa back in the 60s. Pop had just fueled and parked for the night. He was eating when another company driver (Mercury out of Virginia) came in and told him someone was stealing fuel out of his truck. Pop walked into the C-store picked up a new "thumper" quietly walked back to his truck and sent that lowlife to the ER. The local authorities declined to press any charges and pop went on to his destination. Pop was armed, but in this case, a "thumper" was more effective.

I would counsel extreme caution in regard to a woman using this for self-defense. The reason is they are not deadly. yes, you can inflect a serious and very painful scratch, but it's like shooting a bear with a .22. You had better kill that bear or suffer the consequences of having a pissed-off bear coming at you. I keep a WASP knife on my person when I am out. Even with this knife, you must understand in the face of a determined attacker your aim had better be to kill. These claws can't kill under these circumstances. One thing I do like about them is once the attack is over there should be DNA material in the claws.

You have to comply with the laws in every jurisdiction. They have different laws in different jurisdictions.

I have found most are scared when the victim shoots them and bullets start flying me I have an array of weapons in my truck including an ar-10 been having that since the new york incident. I have had to use it just not in the truck yet had one stupid group of people tried to break in the wrong house.

My woman and me both go shooting range shooting moving targets in small areas hate to say it she's better than me but I guess her being former marines made her a great shooter but hey as long I know she's good I am good all that matters

    The video was rather lame.
It would have better if it was done by the Mythbusters.
    Interesting concept though.
