I am in process of buying this T660 with 455 HP, Apu Equipped, Fridge and 3:42 Rears. 9 speed convertible to 13 speed running a paccar motor MX-13 and Mileage 519K and asking price 45K.
I was told by my peers I may not be able to up the HP due to it being a 16909A cause dealership may not allow it.
1) Will I be able to get an extended warranty through paccar?
2) Will I be able to up the HP at MHC or will I be denied due to them not allowing it?
3) Is the price they asking for it a good price ? Link is below to look at images of the truck
all feedback is welcome and much needed.
I have own authority and I run dry van. Average weight is 30K I run Midwest and southeast a lot

I’m not a fan of this truck AT ALL.
Not for this reason but I found it curious it’s a 660. Must be one of the very last ever built.
The price is too high, you don’t need the headache rack, it’s not a full aero. I hate that engine and it’s got too many miles. The wheel base is too long for what your doing, 9 speed sucks, on and on.
That truck wouldn’t have sold for even 30k just 6 months ago. Possibly even 25k.
Btw the ad says 519k as well as 590k miles. -
Well #### what about a 680 for 44k -
on spec sheet it’s 519K on the milesjackoboyo Thanks this. -
That truck has had a hard life. Look past the chrome wheel covers, fridge that probably doesn’t work, and the APU.
Look at the amber lights on top, the head ache rack, the back of the frame. This is not a truck for doing van work. This is a WORK truck, when you need more of a line haul aero, regular duty truck. This probably hauled heavy machinery, and off road at times. Maybe wide loads. Who knows.
Somebody may disagree but this isn’t your truck bro.rollin coal and Judge Thank this. -

It’s certainly much much closer to what you are needing. I’d offer $35,000 as a top offer and be prepared to walk. That’s if the truck and engine checks out.
Used prices have heated back up, but remember that these dealers raped the companies that traded the trucks in for the last year. They have I’d say at very best 25k in it. So, remember that. -

Lonestar pulls a lot of oversized/heavy loads.
They do a lot of windmills and each one was over 40k.
Used to have 3-4 axle trailers too to axle them out. -
I use to work with them so I know they maintain they trucks but trying to see if asking price will be worth it. I’m currently in a 2014 670 Volvo with d13 and it’s decent but I need something else ASAP
